![]() ![]() But for this game, I can see the female audience was also in mind as far as the Adult CGs are concerned.īecause of the game’s original R18 rating, all the casts in this title used their pseudonyms and aliases. More times than not, I’m always wary when it comes to R18 Otome Games having CGs that are mostly catered to the male gaze. Not only were the wholesome CGs worthy of praise, but the H-scenes were also beautifully drawn. Regardless of the disappearing male nips, I enjoyed the overall artwork for this game. Where did their nipples go?□ I want to know?!□ Some CGs will show a naked LI with nipples, while on some LIs, they disappear. Their previous works include Karin Entertainment’s Otome Ken Musashi and the BL game Omega Vampire. There’s a bit of inconsistency when it comes to male nipples in this game. Japanese Illustrator, Ranpumi was in-charge of Yoshiwara Higanbana’s character design. The OP song “Soushibana” performed by the Japanese artist, Riryka, was strikingly beautiful, and the lyrics spoke true to the plot of this game. Collar x Malice is also my all time top 3 favourite otome game – I really cannot say enough good things about it! BUT, if you just want cute and steamy content, I think it’s ok to skip to the fandisc ( this wouldn’t make sense for sequels though).I’m going to bring up the music first because while the game’s soundtrack wasn’t that groundbreaking, it was very soothing to listen to, and I really love the sounds of traditional Japanese instruments used in the BGMs like the koto, biwa, and shamisen. You will have a much better experience playing the fandisc after getting to know the characters. If you haven’t played the first game, I would highly recommend you start with that first. Mineo’s hatsu ecchi with Ichika had me SCREAMING! ![]() Ah, I am literally smiling so hard right now recalling all the cute moments. The game also takes place after Ichika is already dating the boys, so you can expect a lot of couple-related scenes – dates, sleepovers, you name it. Although there are some investigative contents, the game mainly explores each love interest’s personal life and background. The fandisc, on the other had, is full on steam train ride ( except for Adonis route). But the emphasis, rightly so, is more on the whole plot of trying to stop Adonis. The first game does contain steamy content (with Takeru’s route being the horniest, LOL). It only gets 8/10 horns because none of the love interests were ever shown topless ( boohoo ) and they also never made any “bed noises”. But this game actually focuses more on the romance, which I totally appreciate! There are three possible ends: ‘Love Which Transcends Time’, ‘A New Encounter’, and ‘Sad Love’ ends. One example is when Nobunaga visits Mai when she was bathing in an onsen… There are also extra scenes in between as well. ![]() The initial plot is more or less the same as the mobile version, but does extend much longer before you get to the end. Sadly, the CGs aren’t that spicy and a few are repeats of the mobile version. The description of the steamy scenes are very detailed and quite explicit. You can replay the chapters as many times as you want, and view all the CGs as many times as you want. Buying the console version has been such a good once off investment! The fact that it is fully voiced already makes it worth buying. I am a very impatient person, so I have spent a ridiculous amount of money on the mobile version just so I can binge the story. Edit: my Jakou no Lyla review is up, check it out! I am working on a review of this game, so watch this space. Gosh, I could go on and on! It’s one of my favourite otome games of all time. The OP and ED songs are very catchy, and it also has a beautiful love catch system. So good! I really wish this game had an R-18 version.īeyond the steam, Jakou no Lyla also has amazing background music. Another big hit for me was the love triangle ends, they had me on my knees. Also, this is one of those rare occasions (at least for Japanese otome games) where we have a dark-skinned love interest! Yay for progress – and he is hot as hell. Even in the common route! The love interests are attractive beyond belief, and they are all super h*rny. Unlike most otome games where steamy content usually happens at the end, Jakou no Lyla has steamy content throughout the route. What’s amazing about this game is not just that it’s steamy, it also has a good plot. Of course, she had to thread carefully in order to achieve her objective and not fall in love with them! In every route, Shirien is essentially sent on a mission and had to bewitch the love interests. That in itself already sold me 100 times over. The premise of this game is Arabian x sensual x love triangle. ![]()
